Doll (人形) is a guardian created by Commissioner Hiwagishiakari Ai to protect the Shunin. Doll is voiced by Shiraishi Haruka (白石晴香) — the same voice actress as the Commissioner.
Profile
The official profile calls Doll a kind of temporary bodyguard for the Shunin, and refers to Doll simply as an “entity”. The only hard fact given is that Doll’s body is made of wood; everything else — how Doll was made, what Doll remembers, how much of a will of its own it has — is left open.
How to get Doll
Doll is the one character whose acquisition the official CBT guidebook explained in detail:
- Doll starts out destroyed. You restore Doll through the Great Shrine (called the Grand Temple in some CBT notices).
- Leveling up the Great Shrine gradually repairs Doll.
- Once restoration is complete, you are guaranteed to get Doll.
- Doll cannot be obtained from the gacha.
During the CBT, the repair item was the Oracle Device Daisy Wheel, handed out 25 at a time in the daily login rewards. Treat the exact costs as CBT values — they may change at launch.
In combat
In CBT footage Doll carried the Attacker role label. As a guaranteed unit, Doll is likely to be part of most new players’ early teams. See the combat guide for how roles fit into the tag-based battle system.
Trivia
- The CBT guidebook’s cover art shows Doll curled up on a red sofa in the Special District Office.
- Doll and the Commissioner who built Doll share a voice actress. The game has not explained whether that means anything yet.
